Three generations, one market stall
OH! Designs started at home, in a house the family calls the Oreo House. Janet and her daughter Payton, who's 11, began making earrings together at the kitchen table: mixing colours, cutting shapes by hand, baking in small batches and finishing every pair.
When friends kept asking where the earrings came from, the idea of a market stall came up. Payton's grandmother, Nanny Pam, jumped at the chance. It meant more time with her granddaughter, and a front-row seat for Payton's first taste of running a business. Now on market days you'll find Nanny Pam and Payton behind the stall together, while Janet is usually back home with a fresh batch in the oven.
